- 3 Earl Grey tea bags
- 1.5 cups sugar

Preparation
- Bring the water to a boil in a small pot. Add the tea bags, and remove from heat.
- Steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags.
- Return the pot to the stovetop over medium-low heat. Bring the tea to a simmer.
- Add the sugar, and cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Let cool before using. You can store this in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
