Snow Globe Champagne Cocktail

The snow globe Champagne cocktail is a sparkling, festive drink that captures the magic of the holidays in a glass. A rosemary “tree” stands amid frozen cranberries, creating a whimsical snow globe effect, while gin and elderflower liqueur add floral, botanical notes. Topped with chilled Champagne and a touch of edible glitter, this cocktail is both elegant and playful — perfect for holiday toasts or celebratory gatherings.

Preparation

  1. Place the rosemary sprig, standing upright, in the center of a round-bottom or stemless wine glass. (If needed, first trim the rosemary sprig so it’s slightly shorter than the height of your glass.) Place a small piece of tape to stretch across the top of the glass to hold the rosemary in place so it stays vertical.
  2. Scatter the cranberries in the base of the glass. Carefully pour in just enough water to cover the bottom of the glass (about ½ inch deep) without tipping the rosemary over. Place in the freezer, and freeze for about 2 hours, until the rosemary “tree” is frozen in place.
  3. Remove the glass from the freezer, and remove the tape. Sprinkle a pinch of silver edible glitter over the frozen base. Pour in the gin and elderflower liqueur, then top with the chilled Champagne. Serve immediately.
