- all-purpose flour, for dusting
- 5 oz pizza dough (from 1 [15-ounce] store-bought dough ball)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons store-bought pizza sauce
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon grated parmesan cheese
- fresh basil, for garnish

Preparation
- Lightly flour your work surface and a rolling pin. Place the dough on the work surface, and roll it into a 7-inch round, about ¼ inch thick. If the dough springs back, let it rest for 5 minutes, then roll again until even.
- Brush the top of the dough lightly with the oil, then prick it all over with a fork.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the dough, oil side down, to the air fryer basket. Cook for 4–5 minutes, until the dough is slightly set and just starting to firm up.
- Flip the crust over, and cook for 4–5 minutes, until the dough is almost cooked through and is firm to the touch with a light golden color and a dry, matte surface.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough surface, leaving a small border around the edge. Sprinkle evenly with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Return the pizza to the air fryer, and cook for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Garnish with basil, then slice and serve.
