I Tried The Viral "Pregnancy Sub" That Has The Internet Losing Its Mind, And I'm Not Exaggerating When I Say It Might Be The Best Sandwich I've Ever Had In My Entire Life

"I'm far from pregnant...but I want it!!!"

One of my favorite things about TikTok is the discovery of food hacks, and THE "PREGNANCY SUB" is currently front and center.

Pregnant woman relaxes on a couch, smiling gently while holding a plate with a sandwich

It's sloppy, it's stuffed, and it's from Jersey Mike's. (But you could make a close variation yourself, which we will get to later.)

Anyway, so many people — pregnant or not — are trying the viral sandwich and raving about how delicious it really is.

TikToker @girlnamedmaeve has racked up nearly 3 million views on the platform with her review.

"We are trying the famous pregnancy sub from Jersey Mike's," she starts in the TikTok.

"Whew!!! THAT SHIT IS GOOOOOOOD."

"ACIDIC. I am going to have awful, awful acid reflux after this."

"And my acid reflux is already starting," she concludes as she gobbles down the rest of the sandwich.

Pregnant people were GLUED to the screen, despite her not even sharing what the ingredients of the sandwich are!!!

A person is pictured with a surprised expression in a theater setting, accompanied by the text: "Now my twins want me to get this."

And one pregnant person said this sandwich has sent them into labor!

Comment reads: "Girl I had this exact sandwich and the next day I woke up and was in labor and had my son that morning."

Anyway, as a non-pregnant person who appreciates food, I immediately knew I had to try this. So, I headed to Jersey Mike's.

I couldn't find where the sandwich originated, but I was able to confirm what the ingredients are. You want to order a BLT, Mike's way. It includes shredded lettuce, diced onions, sliced tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, and salt. Then you add cherry pepper relish, mayo, banana peppers, and pickles. Have them load it all on their Rosemary Parmesan bread.

Unfortunately, the location I went to was out of the Rosemary Parmesan bread, but I had it loaded with everything else and it looked like this:

A hand holds a sandwich filled with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on a bread roll

As we all know, any good sandwich is a bit sloppy. Which I can confirm this one DEFINITELY is.

As someone who isn't a huge bacon lover (or a fan of BLTs in general), I wasn't expecting to even like this, but it blew my mind. Literally, it was a DELICIOUS flavor explosion. The oil and vinegar added a twang that I enjoyed, but what really made this sandwich GREAT was the cherry pepper relish. It is much more than just an elevated BLT!!! It's zesty, tangy, and tart, which I assume is why it is appealing to pregnant people. (Hormonal shifts often cause them to crave these types of flavors, if you didn't know.)

Literally, I am rating it a 10/10, and even I am surprised that I am giving it a perfect score. IT IS THAT DANG GOOD.

This is also something I think you could make at home, and I want to attempt to do so because I love it that much! But I will reiterate that Mike's cherry pepper relish really took the flavor up a notch, so I wouldn't skip it. I found this copycat recipe on Reddit:

So, what do you think? Would you try this or have you tried it? Let us know in the comments, and while you're at it, share any other yummy sandwich go-tos you have!
